When Purchasing Cannabis products, there are various choices to consider. On the surface, you may find yourself trying to find the best rounded product, that is effective, health conscious, affordable, sustainably produced, contains the most benefits, ext. Once you’ve scratched this surface, you’ll discover that there are even deeper contemplations at hand!

When looking further into cannabis products you may find variations like Full spectrum or Isolate but, which is the best choice and Why?

Today we are going to go over these differences, and why ENJOY proudly uses Full Spectrum CO2 Extract and how it is easy for your body to absorb in a water based edible.

First, it’s important to address that Cannabis has quite a complex chemical structure, containing over 100 active cannabinoids. The two most well known Cannabinoids are CBD and THC, however, studies suggest that all cannabinoids are extremely beneficial. For example: the cannabinoids CBN and CBG have been known to contain anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and pain relieving qualities. CBC is known promote bone growth and contains components known to inhibit cancer cells.

Cannabinoids are not the only powerhouse in this incredible plant. Cannabis also contains a little something called terpenes. Terpenes, much like cannabinoids, are known to carry anti-inflammatory and medicinal benefits. They also help increase the benefits of each unique Cannabinoid.

Cannabinoids, terpenes and healthy fatty acids work synergistically to provide more benefits than any one single unit can provide; This concept is called "The Entourage Effect".

Isolate or Full Spectrum?

Isolate extract is intended to create an extract that is pure on a molecular level. (at least 90%) To get this, you have to break down the organic chemical structure of the plant, which in turn tampers with our beloved “Entourage Effect”. You could think of it as the difference between White Bread and Whole Wheat Bread. White Bread, like distillate, has been stripped down and in the process lost a great deal of its nutrients.

Now, if you were to further shake down distillate, stripping it the terpenes, fat and all other cannabinoids beside the one in favor (Say: THC or CBD) It would now be considered “Isolate.”

At one point in time isolate was believed to pack the most potent punch for those in need of Cannabis Therapy. Logically, it made sense! If we knew that CBD primarily provides the medical relief we were looking for, wouldn’t we want the purest form of it? However, knowing what we know now about Cannabinoids and how they have the ability to work synergistically, we can see why Isolate is at a disadvantage compared to broad or full spectrum extracts.

Broad spectrum is an extraction process used for CBD products that is a bit of a mix between Full Spectrum Extract and Isolate. These products still contain an array of cannabinoids and terpenes, but like Isolate, the extraction process is unable to preserve cannabinoids. In some cases, Broad Spectrum products will begin as an isolate, and then the manufactures will go back and add in the terpenes and cannabinoids later. This can provide you with some aspects of the Entourage Effect, but not to the full extent of what the plant's natural chemical structure would offer.

Full Spectrum extract maintains the

most integrity of the Cannabis so that the chemical structure naturally occurring in the plant, with all of its terpenes, cannabinoids, and Fatty Acids, stay intact. Full Spectrum extract allows you to take full advantage of the Entourage Effect, something that Isolate lacks. Though in previous years there was some debate considering whether Full Spectrum or Isolate extracts are superior, scientists and researchers have begun to widely favor Full Spectrum.

If you ask around, you’ll find that the vast majority of users strongly prefer Full Spectrum oil to other extraction methods. In fact, for conditions like Anxiety, Depression, and Chronic Pain, nearly every CBD patient will claim that full-spectrum oil is by far the superior option.

ENJOY shots make the full spectrum extract easily bio-available in a water based edible. What does this mean?

ENJOY shots are water based and absorb in your body like water. This makes them very fast acting and allows you to absorb ALL the full spectrum extract. Most edible have to go through your digestive system and does not allow full absorption. Many people with a fast digestive system or issues will waste over half of the potential available cannabinoids.

ENJOY chooses to create all of our products with high-quality Full Spectrum CO2 extract. Whole plant extract allows us to include all of the cannabinoids, terpenes, and fatty acids essential for optimum effectiveness and easy absorption.

We love cannabinoids, so we wrap it all up in a fun colorful bottle with easy to dose portions. From seed to bottle. ENJOY.
